iTechSEO has accepted guest contributions since 2013 on our SEO blog. We publish 6 to 10 outside posts per month across SEO, ASO, content marketing, paid search and analytics. This page is the complete brief – read it before pitching. Posts that ignore the guidelines below get rejected automatically; posts that follow them get a response within 5 business days.

Topics we accept
Save your time. We do not accept:
- Generic “top 10 SEO tips” listicles with no original data or examples.
- Crypto, gambling, adult, weight-loss, MLM, or any niche where we cannot vouch for the link target.
- Posts pitching black-hat tactics or anything in violation of Google’s Spam Policies.
- AI-generated drafts with no human editing, fact-checking, or original insight.
- Press releases, thinly disguised product launches, or content that exists to host a single backlink.

The submission process
- Pitch first – send 2–3 topic ideas, each with a working H1 and a 3-bullet outline, to help@itechseo.com with subject line “Guest Post Pitch: [topic]”.
- Editorial response – within 5 business days you receive either an approval (with the chosen topic), feedback to revise, or a polite pass.
- Draft submission – once a topic is approved, you have 21 days to deliver a Google Doc draft following our content standards, we also provide content creation services, which you can avail directly from us
- Editing round – our editor returns one consolidated round of edits within 7 days. You revise and return within 7 days.
- Publishing – once approved, we schedule publication within 14 days and notify you with the live URL plus a distribution kit (social copy, LinkedIn snippet, newsletter blurb).

Sponsored post option
If your post is product-led, vendor-led, or contains a non-editorial link, it must be submitted through our sponsored post path. Sponsored posts are clearly labelled, use the rel=”sponsored” attribute on the relevant link, and follow a separate pricing and review process. A: Between 800 and 2,500 words. Posts in the 1,400 to 1,800 word range perform best in our analytics and have the highest acceptance rate.
A: AI-assisted research, outlining and editing are fine. AI-only drafts are not. Every accepted post must have human voice, original insight, real examples and fact-checked claims. We run Originality.ai on every submission.
A: Yes – one dofollow contextual link to a non-competing, non-spammy source plus a dofollow author bio link. Excessive linking, link injection, or links to gambling, crypto, adult or MLM sites lead to immediate rejection.
A: No. Standard editorial guest posts are free in both directions we don’t pay contributors and contributors don’t pay us. Sponsored content is a separate paid track with explicit labelling and rel=”sponsored” links.
A: Pitch response in 5 business days, draft review in 7 days, publication within 14 days of final approval. End-to-end timeline is typically 4 to 6 weeks from first pitch to live URL.
A: You get a polite email explaining the reason usually topic mismatch, quality, originality, or link policy. You are welcome to pitch again after addressing the feedback.
